About My Company
Origami Owl was founded in 2010 by 14 year old Isabella Weems! She started the business with babysitting money and her parents matched her $350 investment! The company grew rapidly as people fell in love with the beautiful Living Lockets™! You customize your creation by picking each piece. You select the Locket, charms, chain, plate & dangle to tell your story! The lockets open up so that you can change or add to your creation whenever you would like! I have had the pleasure of helping women (and men for gifts!) put together lockets to tell all sorts of stories...you can tell about you hobbies, your family, you can memorialize someone you have lost,you can even represent a favorite sports team or band! Origami Owl stays ahead of the fashion trends and releases a new catalog twice a year with smaller exciting supplement releases in between! I have an incredible team of woman who have started their own Origami Owl business & I would LOVE to share the opportunity with you as well! One of my favorite things about the company is our mission statement and the ways that our designers work to live this statement each day.... To be a Force for Good; TO LOVE, inspire + motivate people of all ages to reach their dreams+empower them to make a difference in the lives of others. It's a statement I feel proud to stand with!

About Me
Hi! My name is Tara and I started my Origami Owl business in February of 2013! I fell in love with the product before even seeing it in person and found that seeing the quality in person is the icing on the cake! A week before my second child was born my mom was diagnosed with Breast Cancer so rather than going back to work I decided to stay home with my children with the flexibility to accompany my mother to her doctor's appointments. In December of 2012 my mom lost her battle with Breast Cancer...I was devastated and I needed something to keep me busy, keep the flexibility to work around my children and husband's schedules while helping to contribute to our household financially. That is where Origami Owl came in and I am so thankful to have found such an awesome company!!! I was lucky enough to have the opportunity to earn an incredible incentive trip for my husband and I so in February of 2015 we traveled to Maui, Hawaii for the trip of a lifetime! We never had a honeymoon when we were married 9 years ago so we used this trip as our honeymoon and renewed our vows next to the ocean while we were there! The connections I have made through this company and the meaningful friendships are the best part. Our culture is amazing and something I want to share with everyone! <3

My Favorite Products
I find it very difficult to pick a favorite product but one new thing that I am EXTREMELY excited about is our in{script}ions collection! Inscriptions gives you the ability to custom engrave your own plate and/or locket base with something special to you or someone you love! In addition to in{script}ions I adore our CORE line and that we have the ability to completely change the look of our lockets by twisting off the face and putting a different color or style face on! I have many personal lockets but one that I wear most often is a leather wrap bracelet with a locket that memorializes my mother. It has an "In memory of" charm, a plate that says Mama,a butterfly and our stardust crystals...it is very special to me!
